Client Problem:
To upgrade Oracle Financials application to support a large Department of the Victorian Government. The solution provided for the development, configuration and data migration components of the project.
What was our solution:
During the first stage, Park Lane prepared a migration roadmap to enable multi-org operations for the client in their use of Oracle Financials and e-Business Applications Suite.
Park Lane then provided a team comprising of functional and technical consultants, programmers and a developer with XML publisher expertise to work with their personnel to carry out the migration.
This migration involved:
- Application reconfiguration,
- Customisations, new and upgrades – including interfaces with other systems
- XML report development
- Initial system testing
- Post-production support
- Project management
Park Lane also provided the client with support during the migration preparation, development and testing, procedure & learning development, user acceptance testing and go-live support
Results / Business benefit:
The software configuration and application migration were carried out on time and within budget.
